Here is how to access it.
CPC students can draw on financial awards from multiple sources simultaneously — the Archdiocese of Vancouver, CPC itself, TWU, and the broader Catholic community across BC. Most students receive support from more than one source.
The awards described on this page are in addition to any TWU scholarships, bursaries, or Student Aid BC you may already qualify for.
Awards are stackable — and deposited directly to your TWU account.
CPC Financial Awards are deposited into your TWU student account and stack on top of your TWU awards — provided your total awards do not exceed the cost of your tuition for that semester. They are not cash payments, and they are not available retroactively.
Catholic students enrolled at TWU and taking courses at CPC — whether in the Catholic Formation Track or not.
Before the add/drop deadline of each semester. Awards are not available retroactively. If you apply in the fall, you are automatically eligible for spring of the same academic year.
Students attending TWU on Torch Scholarships are not eligible for CPC Financial Awards. All other TWU students are welcome to apply.
For students enrolled in the Catholic Formation Track
If you are a Catholic student enrolled at TWU and registered for the Catholic Formation Track, you are eligible for a one-time $2,000 bursary — awarded on behalf of the Archbishop of Vancouver and the Archdiocese of Vancouver. It is the Archbishop’s hope that as many students as possible benefit from this award.
The bursary is awarded after the add/drop deadline of your second semester of study, provided you are enrolled in a CPC English course in that semester. To receive it, you must have registered for the CFT through our Admissions Counsellor.
Example: A student starting in September takes ENGL 105 CP and one other CPC course in the fall, and ENGL 106 CP in the spring. The $2,000 bursary is deposited after the spring add/drop deadline, provided the student remains enrolled in the spring English course.
For Catholic students taking CPC courses outside the CFT
If you are Catholic, enrolled at TWU, taking CPC courses but not in the Catholic Formation Track, and have unmet financial need, you may apply for per-semester awards based on the number of CPC courses you are taking.
Apply before the add/drop deadline of each semester. If you did not apply in the fall but would like the award for the spring semester, submit your application before the spring add/drop deadline.

Memorial Scholarship
Awarded by Adriana Zylmans in memory of her parents, Wim and Annie Zylmans. Open to CPC students in any field of study. Consideration is given to both academic performance and financial need.

Offered by the Knights of Columbus BC Charity Foundation to young practicing Catholics in post-secondary education at a recognized institution within British Columbia. One-time bursary.

Available to Canadian Catholic students in undergraduate studies. Administered by the Knights of Columbus nationally.

Trinity Western University offers over $8 million in financial aid annually through scholarships, bursaries, and awards. CPC students are TWU students and are fully eligible for all TWU financial support — on top of any CPC awards.
Student Aid BC is also available to BC residents enrolled at TWU.
